* Bookings are essential. Peak season: October-March. 2-4 weeks in advance. April-September is highly recommended for best service and aligns nicely with any winter requirements you may have. Also parts supply can become difficult/slow around Dec/Jan if special order items are required. Leave these months for emergency repairs only!
* Please remove your jetski cover and leave in the front storage bucket where possible. These can chew up 10 minutes to remove & refit which is charged to you!
* Please bring your jockey wheel with you. If you don't have one, ask how we can help fit one for you to make life easier when the ski is off the car.
* During peak season it is important to collect your ski promptly after it has been serviced. Storage fees will apply for ski's left for more than 8 days. Please let us know if you have difficulty collecting during shop hours - we can arrange late night appointments.
* Tandam trailers and boats need special bookings - please consider having these larger craft serviced between April-September.
Ski M.D was started back in 2007 as an independant service agent, specialising in the repair of the 3 main NZ brands of jet ski - Seadoo, Yamaha & Kawasaki. Our technician, Kevin, has a wealth of technical experience that can help repair ski's quickly and economically. One of our major achievements has been working on many supply contacts worldwide sourcing the best parts at the best price available.
One of our main beliefs is to do a lot of preventative maintenance which is why all our services include the removal of the jet unit and significant grease where required.
When it comes to repairs, sometimes experience counts for the best gain, and our technician Kevin has 16 years worth of full time diagnosis skills to draw on. That can mean he has seen that problems before. And if not we can recommend exactly who you need to see!

"I purchased a new SeaDoo in January which had electrical problems. Ski M.D quickly got it sorted. It was also running rough so Kevin completely removed and lubed up the drive train and it now runs a lot quieter. Don't assume because it is new it will be ok. I would recommend you pop in with your jet ski - ESPECIALLY NEW ONES - because you never know! Warren

Kevin Geard, is no stranger to the personal watercraft scene, since the mid 1990's he has immersed himself in jetski's; originally selling Sea doo and Polaris craft in central Auckland before opening his Sea Doo dealership which went on to get Sea Doo Dealer Of The Year continuously until it was sold in 2005. Now based at the other end of Auckland specialising in repairs and modifications, Kevin has built a loyal following of customers who will have no-one else but him service and maintain their ski's.
In June 2009 Kevin and Cathie moved to a purpose built PWC workshop in Papakura. Here we have our shop with every jetski-related accessory we can get our hands on, a double bay workshop, a custom fabrication/machining room, and storage for plenty of jetski's so each one is locked up undercover over night.
