Personal Watercraft Technician
We are currently looking for a special person to join us and be trained as a Personal Watercraft Technican to work on Yamaha, Seadoo and Kawasaki brands.
The applicant needs to have
-
natural mechanical ability and interests
-
be physically strong and nimble (normal activities include lifting heavy drawbars, battery boxes, oil drums, bending over/inside engine bays and crawling underneath trailers)
-
be confident with basic computer use
-
be willing to think outside the square (when you strike a problem, you have to work to find a solution)
-
clean drivers licence
-
pass a police security check
-
have good verbal communication skills
-
electrical knowledge is a bonus
The position involves;
-
assisting our head technician with mobile servicing which can be a couple of 14 hour days a week (seasonal)
-
some workshop duties assisting with major engine repairs
-
returning jetski's to their owners around the Waikato/Auckland/Bay of Plenty
-
water testing (in all temperatures/weather)
-
some basic tasks such as cleaning, stock taking
-
participation in social media posts and videos
-
work is seasonal and holidays are ideally taken during the off-season (April - August)
