Kevin Geard, is no stranger to the personal watercraft scene, since the mid 1990's he has immersed himself in jetski's; originally selling Sea Doo and Polaris craft in central Auckland before opening his Sea Doo dealership which went on to achieve Dealer Of The Year continuously until it was sold in 2005.
Kevin started Ski MD (meaning jet ski doctor) late 2006 and in 2009 moved to a purpose built PWC workshop in Papakura with a double bay workshop, a custom fabrication/machining room and parts/accessories store on the mezzanine floor above.
During this time, we also started JetskiJunk.co.nz - the first online parts & accessories web store in NZ. Jetski Junk was an overwhelming success and was sold on in 2015 to allow us to focus on Ski MD as a mobile service. The additional benefit of running a large parts business was acquiring knowledge on the huge range of aftermarket parts available in today's market. This has now allowed us to optimise the best blend of quality aftermarket parts and genuine parts to retain the best value service pricing.
Today Ski MD is completely mobile around Auckland, Waikato and the Coromandal. This has been extremely popular with our Auckland customers who struggled to get their ski serviced due to time and traffic issues. We have advanced diagnostic equipment onboard for talking to your Sea Doo, Yamaha and Kawasaki watercraft as well as essential genuine service tools for all brands, plus, with 20 years experience in the industry, Kevin knows how to use them!
Senior Watercraft Technician
Owner and founder of Ski MD. Kevin also enjoys anything to do with motors, petrol and speed. (This is why he doesn't know anything about fishing!)
Currently his favourite love is an ex-NZ Army Mercedes Unimog which is undergoing a few 'mods'.
Billy joined Ski MD in 2016 to assist with mobile servicing. He is also a Senior Firefighter at the RNZAF Base in Whenuapai.
Billy helps out on the big days when there are too many jobs booked!

Cathie joined Ski MD in 2008 when it became apparent the paperwork needed 'a women's touch'.
When time away from the computer screen allows, she can be found walking the 2 Husky's or riding her Panigale 899.
