Famous for it's challenge & reward!
Climb 45 mins to Whakapipi Lookout for spectacular views of the surrounding Waikato.
Continue on to climb to the top (elite fitness required, 3 hrs).
8 min walk from workshop to starting point at the Te Aroha Domain.

On the side of the mountain there is a 10 - 14 km bike trail suitable for moderate to advanced riders.
Or, take a flat ride along either Rail Trail to Paeroa or Matamata.
1 min ride from workshop to starting point of Rail Trail.
4 min ride from workshop to start of mountain bike trail in the Te Aroha Domain.

Adrian Worsley Gallery
Adrian Worsley constructs unique sculptures entirely from recycled materials at his workshop in Te Aroha just along the road from us.
There is a free 1.2km town walk around town featuring 8 of his sculptures with accompanying audio tracks about each one.
A couple of times a year he has an 'open day' at his studio. Usually advertised on his Facebook page.
