Jetski Community Helps In Hawkes Bay

When news came through about the devastation in the Hawkes Bay following Cyclone Gabrielle in February 2023, Kevin knew he wanted to go and help with the clean up. It started with a post on the Ski MD Facebook page reaching out to see if anyone could help with supplying a skid steer or Bobcat, or hire contacts, etc.

The response was amazing.

With the financial help from dozens of kind people all over the country, Kevin did 3 separate trips to Esk Valley and the surrounding area, for a total of 3 weeks driving a skid steer and Bobcat clearing mud from properties.

The memories of what he witnessed and the kindness of people will be with him for life.
